East Rio Hondo Asset Management Plan

After the East Rio Hondo Water Supply Corporation secured funding through the Texas Water Development Board’s Asset Management Program for Small Systems, the corporation engaged Halff to gather information on the existing system. Halff conducted meetings and site visits with ERHWSC staff, including workshops that utilized a GIS inventory to identify critical assets and to develop condition and prioritization criteria. 

The result: a final asset management plan that included a system evaluation, asset management plan, best practices, budget, resources and implementation plan. Halff also delivered system quick guides, as well as an operation, maintenance and compliance schedule. Halff also provided presentations to the systems board and facilitated asset management training for ERHWSC staff.
